Astilbe 'Color Flash Lime' forms a mound of ferny leaves that begin bright yellow in spring, later fading to chartreuse as they mature. Feathery blush-pink plumes appear in midsummer. Best with morning sun and afternoon shade, in a rich, moist soil. Outstanding and unique for both its foliage and flowers. Also a terrific choice for containers.
